This novel combines fact, family stories, and flights of fancy to present a historically accurate evocation of the time surrounding America's turbulent birth.
Family stories were my point of origin, and from there, I performed an intensive search of public records and history books to verify what was ostensibly a very long game (over two hundred years) of "telephone". You know the old game: whisper something in your neighbor's ear and pass it along.
